This morning, Representative Stace Nelson was back on the Greg Belfrage Show on KELO Radio out of Sioux Falls, SD. Greg first asked Stace to elaborate from the previous week’s interview regarding his position on Common Core Standards in education. He said there would be several bills introduced on the subject in the 2014 state legislative session, but he was most interested in one which aimed to withdraw the state from participating in Common core over the course of several years.

Belfrage then asked Stace to give his position on the proposed state ban on texting and driving. He mentioned his initial reaction was to support a ban, but after studying the issue more in depth, he noted his realization that such a law would be unwise.
