This is a ground up, for the people of South Dakota campaign. We don’t have or need millions of dollars in the bank because we work harder and have support from the real people in the state, not just the large corporate interests like other candidates.

Stace has been driving many of the signs that are popping up all over by hand and has the wounds to prove it.

Stace Nelson traveled to Aberdeen this morning with his wife and daughter to participate in the Gypsy Day Parade, Northern State University’s annual homecoming celebration. A group of his supporters, including local State Representative Dan Kaiser, walked the parade route in support of the campaign.

As contributions continue to roll in before the end of month posting deadline, we’ve crossed the halfway mark toward our $10,000 goal. This is our first quarter as a campaign and we need to send a clear message to the establishment - we are a serious threat to the career politicians running against us. My Dear Friends:

Much has happened since we launched this momentous campaign for the US Senate a little over a month ago. I have put on many miles and visited much of the state. Everywhere I go, people are looking for someone who will actually vote on principle, rather than party. I have had a tidal wave of support and am indebted to you for it.

Right now is a critical time in the campaign and a great opportunity for you to give it some added momentum. Every dollar received early in a campaign is worth 3 to 5 dollars near election day. Monday, September 30th, is the end of our first quarter and we are required to report our finances. These reports are made public and often scoured by groups and individuals as they size up the strengths and weaknesses of the various candidates’ campaigns. National groups are looking for the best true conservative for this race. They want to put their money behind a serious candidate who has real organization and support and their key factor is fundraising—both how many donors and total number of dollars.

That’s why I’m asking you to help us with our “3rd Quarter Push Money Bomb” to make sure we are able to continue hitting the campaign hard and come out very competitive financially early in the campaign.

You have seen how much good has been accomplished by just a few principled US Senators like Rand Paul and Ted Cruz. We have the best opportunity in many years to send a real conservative senator from South Dakota to the US Senate to help them. Remember, the US Senate is where South Dakotans have the loudest voice at the federal level – as much as any other state. We need real, genuine constitutional conservatism and dedicated leadership to turn our country back to the principles upon which it was founded.

What type of US Senator will South Dakota to send to Washington? Look at my voting record – there have been many reports done. By all honest accounts, I’m among the top very few conservatives. You and I both know that sending the same type of folks to Washington who are willing to compromise your freedoms and cave to the lobbyists for the sake of political advantage or pragmatism has gotten us into the terrible situation we’re in with the federal government today. Your timely financial support can make a big difference in how this election, and America’s future, plays out.
